At this point my 500€+ investment, because "gotta have all the cards so one day when we have UL and throwback rotations I can have fun" is not going to pay off since EoS feels inevitable.

If you sit there then you must be playing IRL because online I'm not polite enough to wait.
You can see after the first 20 sec (look at hand, play card, handtrap? go next) if you won or lost.
Like genuinely no reason to stick around.
I stopped going IRL partially because of that, scooping it up that fast is impolite if you gotta wait 45 minutes between matches and you only get like 3 or so a day.
