> BG3 has companion quests
> You show him what these quests look like.
> He gets outraged.
Friend, if one of your main companions has THE WORST QUEST IN THE GAME, maybe you shouldn't tout companion quests as a strong point of the game, right?
Not to mention that the game is FULL of such quests.
For example, the quest to find Mol, where you just find her bandana and then RANDOMLY stumble upon her in the guild's lair, and that's it—that's the whole quest.
Or Arabella's quest, where you just find her parents, and then just find her in the sewers.
Not to mention that in Act 3, a bunch of quests are actually the same quest in disguise. For example, saving Omeluum, avenging the priestess of the storm goddess, and saving the gnome families—it's ONE quest masquerading as three.
