I think somewhere around 2100 or 2200 a great calamity will happen and much of China and the US will be bombed to absolute shit, but after that, one will come out on top. Somewhere around 2500 or 3000 it will all sort of merge into one global power once the struggle is over and some kind of AI overlord will be formed to exert control over the remaining populace. It’ll either be China or the states that ends up doing it, but my money is on China.
