I have been saying this for a decade and a half now.
Very few people actually want immigrants. So if in theory democracy exists to enact the will of the people, and the people don't want immigrants, why are there so many immigrants being brought in?
Regardless of what the answer may be, the people of any nation can only take so much of the government, their suposed representatives, going blatantly against their will.
Eventually, if those who are supposed to represent and serve the people instead try to opress and control them, the people will rise up.
This can be done theough peacefull means at times, but should peacefull means fail, violence is inevitable.
I have kept telling those few people i know who agree with this kind of opression from the peoples "representatives", that this can only end badly. But they didn't listen. The leaders didn't listen. And if things keep going on like this, they may very well end up like ceausescu or mussolini.
