I've been working on my Beethoven archive and I now realize that I'm missing a lot of his late sonatas, he was almost deaf so they aren't his catchiest, but even so it is really hard to find decent recordings that do them justice. Arrau is pretty reliable but unfortunately not all of his Sonata recordings have good audio quality like this one.
