Brought my camera to a con for the first time, and almost exclusively took photos of cars and dolls. Maybe, one day, I'll be good enough that I can take photos of cosplayers without the "uhh, hold on, that one had shit focus. Please stay still" that I'm still struggling with (as you can tell by the couple I'll post)

Physical mediums are what I'm most interested at, be it paintings/drawings or something like sculpture or jewelry. It also depends heavily on the subject too, and I'd be much more willing to buy a painting I liked of a niche series than an equally good painting of a really popular series (that is likely to have a lot more art available.) I think you just need to have a good finger on the pulse of the popular series with the dedicated following if you're looking to move some physical art.

I got caught up with friends this year and didn't get to make it to the AMV contest, and I am going to be gutted if this ended up being the last one. Without understanding anything that's going on behind the scenes, if it does end up being the case that the AMVs were cancelled because of some corporate shit, I am going to be livid. They are one of the most soulful parts of the convention for me, and I can't imagine a good reason why they'd be taken away. Fuck, now I'm going to be going to bed angry
