I just realized that there's an oversight in one of the cards
"Gothic Witchblade" can't be blocked if the opponent has no cards in their hand
that's redundant
the defending player must pay the Rank cost of a minion in their hand to assign it as a blocker
so, if that player has no cards in hand, they can't block anyway

now, it's more like an "assassin" type of creature
it can be deployed to deal direct damage to another minion, and that ability costs less the bigger the difference between the size of your hand compared to the opponent
which ties to the hand disruption theme of the deck in general
