I wonder for how long these free "deals" will last...

Between 2007 and 2013, when LCD was getting big and everyone was throwing out CRTs, as if those things carried the plague, you'd constantly find freebies online or near dumpsters or the curb.
Now, the good free/almost free deals still exist, but it's getting harder to get them and we're starting to see bigger, better sets go for the price of a new LED TV.

CRT gaming is getting bigger as more millennials, zillenials and zoomers find out that they've been playing their retro games on trash modern displays not intended for old games, and that filters are gay cringe.

I can't imagine what the market will look like in the next 10 years, when collectors hoard even more sets, some sets start dying off and the casual Joes wanting to get rid of these old beasts will be using Ebay prices, as they'll be more tech savvy and "know what they have".
