the gen 4 remakes are soulless shit though. hideous presentation, didn't rebalance levels to account for the forced experience share making the game braindead easy until you reach the elite 4, forced affection, ugly following pokemon models, overworld movement is glitch, outright removed or ruined existing content like secret bases and contests, etc. they could have just ported platinum in a ds emulator with some basic modern qol features and it'd be better than anything else on the switch
