NTA but I imagine in X, he got cursed with eternal life and therefore got to live out a decade or so buried alive. If this is following the X timeline, I kind of hope we get to see him dramatically sticking his arm out of the ground like a zombie as he finally claws himself free. Though I guess the game being set entirely in the city kind of kills that dream.
