I wash my hair with 3 eggs every Sunday and just comb them in the morning and sray some saltwater on them. Every 2-3 days I also massage in some hair oil into them so they aren't as dry.
Haven't used neither shampoo nor conditioner in 6 months and haven't had any problems.

Shave it. Growing it and embracing you risk becoming Carl from ATHF and NOT Lynch from Kane & Lynch. Plus uneven/dirty grey hair isn’t sexy imho.
Don’t grow beard though, you got a killer jaw, clean skin and a ‘clear look’.
You also look more into 40’s but I assume thats thats the baldness and thus fixable.
