That may work if this was a very vague situation. However, it is known she spent a huge sum of money on her models. It is known she is more than willing to buy commission art. It is known that she is willing to buy luxury items such as Starbucks drinks. If she already saved enough money for these expensive which can range into the +$5000 region, then it is likely that she could already have covered her cancer treatments. Thus, she either lied (via omission) about needing the cancer donations or she lied about where the cancer donations were going. In both scenarios she lied and misled people.
