I did.
When I first got this thing I described it:

With some dry fire it smoothed out a bit, but I cleaned the exposed surfaces using premium weed store swabs that minimally shed then I put a drop of gun oil in a few places that looked critical.
Now I don't feel any friction, just the spring (26 coils, so original.)
Tomorrow I think is half price range time so I think I'll see if it can get through a box and if it does I'll try the expensive shit. If it can go through ≈50 rounds of range ammo and 15 rounds of Hornady then I'll call it good and put the last 5 rounds in it and carry it casually.
