I stopped playing after the mission with the Toreador with the club that started the freaky fucking blood ritual.
Honestly I'm sad.
I think one of my biggest complaints is how the world feels so empty.
Don't get me wrong, I actually kind of like the snowy Seattle setting.
But you can't go up to any NPC and talk to any of them.
Don't get me wrong, I re opened up the original to see what would happen and most of the time they'd just tell you to fuck off.
Like in the original all the women would tell you to buy a watch.
That's SOMETHING.
But in the modern game interacting with NPCs does absolutely nothing.
Also, there's so many doors that you don't open and lead to nothing.
I spent so long in one of the missions because the game had trained me to think that all doors are fake, but no this ONE door was actually usable.
Combat fucking sucks, just like the original.
Patience is kind of cute but the romance was not worth all the effort I put into it.
Some of the model downgrades from the original trailer really fucking piss me off(Lou).
Also, the sections where you're just walking between interaction points is fucking boring as shit.
Oh and it is one of the worst running games I've had the displeasure of playing in ages, I consistently would get framerate crashes to 10 fps even with DLSS on.
I have no idea what the fuck was going on.
I'll probably finish it later because I'm a Ventrue to the core and love the series.
I just... I wish it was better.
It makes me so sad.
