Considering that they own more than one continent, and those land-masses take up say 3/5ths of the surface of the planet. You would kill the planet, before you collapsed the entire Imperium into the howling depths barring direct act of God.

It would be easier to force tectonic plates to cause a Pompei scenario; such efforts would touch every continent, nation, race, family, and individual. Likely leading to a nuclear-winter like scenario and wiping out at least ~80% of every life form on the planet. Saying that SRTR, blessed be her name, would probably love the ice-age post-apocalyptia that would spring up from this effort. The Others, having mixed feelings but enjoying the destruction of The Usurper (if she was even killed from such an event).
