I think there are events in Miliastra that give you gems but it has also it's own gems you can use to buy outfits and stuff you can get those by playing and with the battlepass.
Otherwise the mode itself is part of the game like TCG and you can make minigames in a scratch like IDE without needing to code or anything. So like roblux but with genshin assets.
