They wanted to do this since the 1920's. They were going with an old Sovet playbook to use racial tensions from the start. I would not be judgmental for her reading it as an intellectual curiosity. Marx was correct about many things about capitalism exploiting people. But very wrong about how to fix it. Plus there are historical reasons to read it to figure out how the plebs and pseudointellectuals got duped and how much of the book the average useful idiot read. But if she reads this while being a limousine socialist, I can't take her seriously.
