Not really, gravity is a result of mass, the tech as I understand it just nullifies it inside its boundary layer of effect.

To give a layman's example, compare a biplane wing to an expertly engineered laminar flow wing. The biplane wing gives lift, but it's crude and drags against the air. This is true for all aircraft. This antigravity tech is like the laminar flow wing; it smooths out the environment around it so that there's no resistance.

Once again I'm just a retard neckbeard, but if I were asked to guess how it works, the constantly spinning, switch-oscillating high power magnetic fields force atoms to assume order on a quantum level as they contact the boundary layer of the field, which reduces drag to near-zero. The main party trick is that this spinning, switching magnetic field also isolates the area inside of it from mass, like an Alcubierre drive.
