Every one of these articles is refusing to acknowledge the economic reality of millennials and zoomers having no significant discretionary income. It's a boomer brain short circuiting because it can't connect the dots between behaviors and incomes. And if by some small chance they understand the economics, their egos won't allow them to acknowledge it, because understanding and sympathy takes the attention off themselves for a moment and the boomer cannot allow that.
