It is this bad.
If you go in with 50% Call-in modifier, you're sitting there for almost 7 minutes.
The most boring part of every mission because more than often you lose the gamble and get a "nothing ever happens" extraction. And even IF you get spawns coming closer to you, its the squids. They have ONE unit that calls in reinforcements, and usually it doesnt get to spawn because it gets shot down before that.
I'm all up for negative modifiers affecting missions as a form of making things more difficult, but there's a difference between being tedious and being actually challenging.
