What's Grail?
It's a community of gacha gamers united by a single, simple idea.
"We are the target audience."
Our duty is to gatekeep as many tourists from harem/ML games as possible.
We are not straightforward evil - if you can see, Grail members don't invade any games meant for non-straight audience. There are more than 50 replies to a post asking us an opinion on gachas with queer representation supported by devs - and everyone agrees they are fine for the audience they are meant for, and no one among us plays or interacts with them.
However when it comes to harem/ML games meant for straight people, someone always finds a "matter of discuss" and won't miss a chance to:
- tell us we are interpreting the story wrong and certain characters are "indeed non-straight";
- tell us we are weirdos/incels/hetslop fans/etc etc;
- push onto agenda, keep on believing and spreading an idea that a certain character is in love with another character of the same sex and it's "undeniable";
- block us for not letting them spread literal misinformation and headcanons served as "canon";
- QRT us to say we are harassing someone over nothing without even seeing the whole situation and understanding what sort of behavior is normal and what is not;
- and more.
But the recipe for peaceful coexistence is really simple:
Don't invade straight games and communities with your yuri/yaoi headcanons.
We are not demanding much. There are a lot of other games you can play where your ideas are directly supported by developers. Literally. Official queers, trans and else, with no discussions, confirmed by devs. Go visit them.
And if you think a gacha from Chinese-based devs is catering towards non-straight audience, even in the slightest - that's a delusion that can be seen from outer space.
There are things meant for certain audiences. We know how to behave. We don't touch yuri/yaoi games. It's up to you to start behaving as well.
