Having just watched it as an adult for the first time since Fox Kids I gotta disagree. Adventures was better. Tamers goes from a solid show to boring filler the instant the Devas become the main priority because it becomes a "Devas of the week" show for like 12ish episodes with the only real character progression being Ruki and maybe a bit of Jian and Impmon. The worst part was right before they go to the Digital World when they have to fight that one Digimon the size of a mountain in Shibuya I think it was. Then when they go to the Digital World literally nothing happens at all outside of them all getting separated from each other multiple times for like 12+ episodes and trying to get back together mixed with glazing our lord and savior Ryo before they finally group up together again and the story actually progressed with Qinglongmon and Zhuqiaomon. There's one episode with Impmon at least which is solid. The D-Leaper is when it finally starts going somewhere but at that point the show is over in like 10 episodes.
