My grandmother died at the age of 104. She remembered all of this shit. She remembered these things being built. It wasn't some sort of space age technology. They're just buildings. Labor was significantly cheaper back then and there were no safety protocols so things were built faster. I think the Brooklyn Bridge has some human bones inside of it.

Just go to a nursing home and talk to someone. They'll tell you about how all these things are made. Or they'll tell you about their own grandparents. In fact, they won't shut the fuck up about it because all they ever want to do is talk.
