china has at least as many nuclear power plants as us, and is on schedule to build more than the rest of the world combined in the next 20 years, and it's widely accepted that china is lapping everyone in missile tech and production, but we are all supposed to believe they are very slow in turning this nuclear and missile expertise into nuclear weapons for some reason
