It's not only in the football world. There are whores going after professional athletes all across the globe to fuck them and then blackmail them for some quick cash. This has been going on for decades now.
Reminds me of an idiot from my town.
He'd go around on events and festivities provoking drunks in order for them to attack him, and when they'd inevitably attacked him, he'd call the police, and there where always witnesses that saw the the guy was attacked. He'd then try to settle for a 700/800€ compensation to not press charges. He did this for a few years before ending up dead in the woods.
