Not like we truly need race locked classes. Any RPG with races that adjust base stats is more than enough encouragement to push certain choices. DnD is, as always, the best all-around example. Humans classically are the go-to for a build because you can't go wrong with a feat and a skill. You really only pick other races if you want the flavor (even for the purpose of mismatched flavor) or the race leans into what you want to do better.

I'll agree though. Having classes be represented almost entirely by specific races is cool. Monks and Paladins used to be a human only phenomenon, for example.
