You're more or less right on the money. I'm still sticking around cuz I like the aesthetics and the girls and all but that can only hold people's attention for so long without a strong enough hook to keep people going. Usually that hook is the story or the gameplay but both have been kind of hot garbage for a while now, admittedly. And the team feels too comfortable coasting on the legacy & goodwill from Eden Treaty and Volume F to actually shake things up in a positive way.

Oh well, nothing lasts forever anyway.
