>Wearing jersey number 73, Tachibana Nagisa (25), who debuted at the Korakuen show on December 26 last year, picked up her very first victory on her own.
>Nicknamed the “National Treasure Beautiful Hips” and also active as a gravure idol, Tachibana faced Ishikawa Nao (31) in the opening singles match of the Arakawa show. The match was originally scheduled as a 3-Way including Hummingbird, but with Tanaka Kizuna sidelined due to poor health, it was changed to a one-on-one between Tachibana and Ishikawa.
>In the closing stretch, Tachibana was caught in a Boston Crab, desperately struggling to reach the ropes for a break. She then endured a double-arm suplex, barely kicking out at two.
>When Ishikawa went to deliver yet another double-arm, Tachibana countered with a La Magistral cradle, rolling her up for the three-count.
>Overjoyed with her first win, Tachibana beamed through sweat: “Yes! Yes! My first victory! And it was supposed to be a 3-Way. I wanted to take the three-count from Hummingbird, but I got the three from Ishikawa Nao-san! I’m so incredibly happy! It took so much out of me! Finally, finally I got the three! But it doesn’t end here. From now on, I’ll keep stacking up wins and climb higher and higher!”
>Meanwhile, a dejected Ishikawa said, “I lost to Tachibana Nagisa… at last, I guess that makes me the weakest in Marigold. What should I do now? I’ve already gone on adventures, so please look forward to something new from Ishikawa,” shifting her mindset toward what’s next.
