“No. Even if this were to be true, that won't just STOP that monster. It will continue consuming everything regardless.” she says, shaking her head. “Long, long, LONG ago, I tried to barter with that being. To offer it an entire reality to devour, while I remade another. Once it was done with the first, it came after the next as well. And the next, and the next. That monster won't stop until it has consumed EVERYTHING.”
“But why destroy the other realities? Why erase them?” you ask, to which Chronoa turns back from Mechikabura to you, expression pained.
“I've tried. Gods, I've tried to stop that monster. Over and over and over, but nothing works. No matter how I change reality, what ways I'd reshape everything, no power was ever strong enough to face that being. And for every reality it devoured, it would grow stronger. So, I started denying it realities. Erasing them completely with Hakai, leaving nothing behind for it to eat whenever it reached that existence. I've been trying to starve it out for the last five realities, hundreds of millions of years each time. But it still hasn't stopped. And now that it's seen you, it knows which direction in the vast void of nothing to go to find us.”
“Now? I've felt that thing's presence before.” you say, both deities freezing at this. “What?”
“And you didn't think to TELL US?!” Mechikabura shouts, taking a step forward, eyes wide. “You saw an eldritch being from beyond all reality and didn't think to tell me?!”
“I didn't know what it was. But when I was between reality and not, through your portal, I felt it staring at me.” you reply. “I had no idea what it was, didn't SEE it. But I could feel something staring at me back then.”
Silence hangs over you all for several moments, no one saying a thing.
“Well, now what?” Chronoa asks, turning from you to Mechikabura. “I used up my power to stop that monster from coming through, but I don't have enough to escape. What will you do?”
Do you interfere? Or leave this up to Mechikabura?
>Ask Chronoa if she will return to Conton City to help Mechikabura and Aeos find a solution to this problem
>Don't say anything, leave this to Mechikabura. You know he's smart, and will make the best decision
>Tell Chronoa and Mechikabura that, maybe if everyone stops fighting and works together, knowing the danger of what lies beyond reality, you can all find a way to beat that creature
