Looking at it again, this is actually exactly what's happening god damn. Usually you see the bullets coming OUT of the portals and it just sprays out everywhere, but for Ryoshu the bullets home in on HER, and then she deflects all of them to the enemies.
Holy shit, this is actually so fucking insanely cool.
