in the past I used pi-cho with lots of its effects disabled on a 970 at 60fps

moreover it's very important to lower other settings and avoid heavy tree and grass mods to give enb the overhead it needs to run at a decent fps
like bethini's medium preset and running dyndolod's low setting or going for vanilla pluth lod with terrain lod redone
and cathedral landscape's grass was relatively lite and so was happy little trees and 3d trees
