Just being exposed to gamma isn't enough, tons of Marvel heroes were mutated by gamma during Hulked Out Heroes and none of them have any link to the Below Place or Green Door. Wolverine has literally died afterwards and he didn't go to the Below Place. We know it's not cause they were gamma drained because Betty was as well and she still came back through the door. It's probably something related to time or vibes.
