Anything else like Utawarerumono? Mask of Truth had some of the best scenes I've seen in any media. It's also really fucking scuffed and the problems with the writer REALLY shine here. Like reading the trilogy, it seems the team struggles with the whole shift between whatever's happening vs technology shit, pacing issues, dropped characters and subplots, too slow in parts, too fast near the ending, too much fucking filler that doesn't add anything (not talking about the comedy nor the world building or the character moments)
