The very idea of wearing hemp clothing makes me itchy, sounds way too coarse. Shetland sheep are famous for super coarse wool (yes, I know Wackypaedia bleets otherwisely), and from experience I can tell you that you do not want any of that touching your skin. Sandpaper is more comfortable.
Cotton is OK to wear but takes enormous amounts of water to grow.
Bamboo fibers are used in socks, comfortable but wears out just by looking sternly at it.
Linen feels cold and wrinkles easily.
