You're still relying on generalized mechanics of reality, and are avoidant of inevitable super reality scenarios which still exist layered over normal reality.

Most men have never gotten to breed throughout history, if given the ability to change genders effortlessly like a clownfish, then at least 90% of men would want to become females, so they can have a higher chance of passing down their genes. Tweaking of few small aspects of society/genetics would result in things like bizarre super harems with one giga chad having a hundred clownfish trans girlfiends. But this reality can create genetic bottlenecks, since our reproductive capacity then shoots way up, resulting in cruelty and war. We are in a short window where there is an equal amount of FTM/MTF transgenders, but do you think that can last forever?

People can be trans, just accept there's something slightly greater than gender, like universal happiness and order.
