Trying my absolute best to keep things on the level with Kris and Asriel when they come over to celebrate Father's Day with Asgore, although at first things are awkward as per usual when we interact eventually his infectious happiness at our collective presence with him melted any iciness that remained between us and we all had a really great time together. Regularly leaving food out as a temporary distraction method to prevent a particularly troublesome racoon that has recently moved in somewhere nearby from pilfering fruits and vegetables from Asgore's backyard garden, while it works for a while (he's a big fan of watching it eat grapes to the point that he suggested we try to keep it as a pet) the little thief's appetite has grown to the point where it now samples from both food sources readily. Enjoying some late night golden flower tea and basic shortbread cookies I made with Asgore when I am suddenly struck with the realization that the tea must contain caffeine and would thusly keep us up for half the night, as he begins to object that it does not in fact contain caffeine I interrupt with lamentation that I just don't know what we could *possibly* do in the meantime while we're forced to wait out this terrible insomniac state (I had to lay it on for quite a bit before he finally understood what I was trying to imply since he's much too innocent for his own good at times)
