>Don't lie retard, AI fags have been hating on artists since day one.
This is fake news. I've considered myself an AI artist since a couple of weeks after stable diffusion came out and I have been making art almost every day since then.
The environments I hung around in are a microcosm of the big picture:
>SD releases, anons happy they can finally make some of the art they've always wanted to make
>show it to our artist friends or other artists
>traditional but mostly digital artists see it, start saying the gubment will take our GPUs and that they will bomb AI companies or something
>in 'two weeks' mind you(this is where the two weeks meme comes from)
>say our art isn't art
>ask them why they're mad, rude, and being dumb
>They Took Our Jobs! - SOUTH PARK.exe
>"okay... enjoy being jobless lol" as a retaliatory response
>anti-AIs find out the CEO of stability AI is a jeet
>they're overwhelmingly leftists but now they're also incredibly racist against jeets which is funny, but also annoying because it's so ignorant since AI is white man's tech
>artists get increasingly unhinged because they can't even tell what is and isn't AI, start attacking other artists thinking they're using AI even when they aren't
>buy AI art even though they "hate" AI, then get mad that they bought art they like
>savagely spread misinformation about how the technology works
>"okay... I guess I hate artists now since they hate me and can't get along with me for a second"
It's not that people hate those who make art, it's just that those who make art seem to be overwhelmingly unhinged. Pic very related. Some artist made up these terms to make "AI bros" look bad. This is genuinely insane behavior.
