I’m so fucking stupid. I ignored World Quests because I thought they were “long and boring,” and only now do I realize how interesting they actually are. They’re easily some of the most memorable and diverse gameplay in the whole game. Mix of combat, puzzles, gorgeous cutscenes, and stunning landscapes.
That quest where you explore the inside of a massive robot in the south of the Sumeru desert. The Aranara quests with the Vintage Lyre, which feel like something straight out of Zelda. And of course, In the Mountains, still my favorite, thanks to my love for Dragonspine

I thought the same while reminiscing about Dragonspine very early on, I just don't think it'd work as a brand new area today because of you are far better equipped to dealing with everything from vertical terrain to enemies to environmental mechanics
It just wouldn't work when everyone is able to power through everything and just ignore whatever else goes on in the area, there's no need to cautiously approach the next bonfire or torch while trying to look out for what enemies that might be there
