I can't get into Gothic, I tried both 1 and 2 and gave up of the slow ass leveling where you get raped by a literal big fly or a small wolf for hours until you get enough points by doing questlines or break the game by buying some scrolls
Not a fan of the controls either but I get the charm, great comfy atmosphere

I tried both 1 and 2 and could never get into them, but I never had any problem with Morrowind
