Infinitely worse. 18-1 was a bitter disappointment in the midst of repeated historical success. The Pats wanted it but didn't need it; they were the best team of that era despite that loss and Brady retired with more rings than any franchise so it's not like that really cost him something. It would have made their resume even more impressive but without it, they remained a dynasty and Brady is still the GOAT. You can't improve on being #1.The Falcons, on the other hand have never been #1 so that win would have changed everything. Hence the loss being so crushing.
