Jesus was a jew. Modern jews aren't.

Jesus reformed Judaism and the talmudic jews rejected his message. When they did they rejected Christ, they rejected God and they ceased to be jews.

If the jews had rejected Moses and the ten commandments and continued to worship the golden calf would they still be jews? Would they still be following God? Of course not. So why should they be considered anything but heretics when they reject Christ?
