Yuri blanket knitting blog 3: Rows 41-60

So I finally started knitting the actual yuri and that means using a lot of colored yarn. Honestly, actually knitting with a bunch of colors is kinda relaxing but trying to keep the yarn from twisting so much that it just becomes a ball of knots is ruining that relaxing feeling. It takes me ~1 hour to do a single row and most of that time is just organizing the yarn and untwisting it after changing colors. Besides this, I'm kinda happy with the results so far, sometimes a pixel will sink into the fabric so it's not visible anymore (I have no idea why this happens) but it's rare enough that it doesn't ruin the image. The only unusual thing I have to keep in mind is to give the longer floaters enough length so it doesn't scrunch the material and since the blanket is so wide that most of it has to stay folded, it means that for the really long floaters I kinda have to guess how long they have to be. So far I haven't messed up and made one of them too short, likely because I tend to keep them longer to avoid this kind of mistakes and hopefully I manage to keep this blanket mistake free from now on***.

***I already made a mistake and somehow, in the middle of a row, forgot which type of stitch I had to do and accidentally made the wrong one for like a dozen stitches which left a weird bump in the material. I plead oopsie daisy your honor.
