Like awhile back I went back and read Negima, and it was shocking how official translation used to try to be a bit more faithful. They kept stuff like Anego, chan(when necessary only), negi-bozu, they kept stuff that helped the story in almost every instance. Japanese names for attacks were kept instead of being localized out the ass. Really feels like a different era.

Even early Raildex manga kept stuff like Onee-sama, while later translations turned it into "Sissy", which just feels wrong. Its like I can feel the moment localizers took over.
