posts like OPs are my problem with the internet and especially websites where younger people hang out like instagram. you're forcibly exposed to the opinions of people who literally don't know how anything works and aren't interested in understanding, they just want to complain.

you got six months of insurance coverage in case your retarded ass crashed into somebody. that's how insurance works. you are exchanging money for a service, which is coverage. I'm sure you don't actually know how insurance works and so you think you should get your money refunded or something if you don't make a claim. You could of course take 3 minutes and read a brief article on how insurance works and where the money you pay goes but you won't.
then there's the whole "waah I shouldn't need to carry insurance" while doing possibly the riskiest and most dangerous thing most people will ever do in their lives (driving). I do not trust you dumbasses to not try to kill me. therefore when you inevitably fuck up and damage my property or injure me, you'd better have the money to pay for it. governments requiring all drivers to carry liability insurance is a government performing its proper function, i.e. protecting its citizens.
