Game development's tough, probably second toughest artform to do after making movies. A lot of people give up early, and honestly, I can't blame them. Just this summer I played this Viscerafest game that took the dev 12 fucking years to make. I can't imagine pouring so much of oneself into a single project. From what I gather it sounds like you gave it a decent try, there's no shame in backing out.
I argee with the other anon that it's probably best to get some good-enough temporary job. Decompress and rest for a while until you feel sane enough to figure out what to do next. Either way you can probably push back the burnout well enough to enjoy art again. Hope you can feel better about life eventually, anon.
