I put my virgin hand up and said "catenary" (the correct answer) except I pronounced it cat-en-arry rather than the correct cat-een-arry, having only experienced the word in written form. No one else even knew the word though so I was alright.
An interesting fact about catenaries is that if you trace their shape and turn it upside down, that arch will always be stable enough to stand under its own weight. Arches of this description are known as catenary arches.
