Good question.
I'm an autist with an overactive imagination and a very unhealthy obsession with fantasy, so I have tried looking for them in various pieces of media I've watched over the years.
I've got a few ones I think count for this:
>Morrowind - The Tribunal
After I became obsessed with fish sometime around 2021 I replayed Morrowind for the tenth time, and found some inspiration from the 'false gods' in the game; Vivec, Sotha-Sil, and Almalexia. All three are old as shit(not physically), are demi-gods, and are flawed in various ways. They're all worshipped as part of a pantheon of gods called the Tribunal(lol)
>Almalexia
She's gone insane with both a lust for power, and a lust for... love from her subjects of Mournhold I think? I still have no idea what the fuck she was doing in that expansion.
This is an aside, but I've always wanted to see Adagio cosplaying/dressed as Almalexia. Pic related.
>Sotha-Sil
Super smart guy, made his own city full of automatons and abandoned the mortal world because he would rather tinker with his toys in his room than something or other. gets killed by almalexia because she is nuts, and as a trap for the player, after manipulating the player
>Vivec
Has all sorts of regrets over the things he did to get to this point, and has some ideas of how to maybe fix it; is ultimately ready to disappear into history

Mostly just gave me some ideas for some 'Dazzlings win' scenarios.
>Adagio
I had one idea where Adagio is based on Almalexia in the story following their victory, and after a few hundred years of their rule ending up with them having a split like the Tribunal(where they're kind of still 'close' but not really; they don't talk to one another, haven't really seen each other in years - they just manage their own respective portions of the Earth.
So Adagio is revealed to have imbued Sunset Shimmer with immortality so she could be kept as a pet in a room off behind the throne room, and sometime in the past 60 years- be it through the last spark of her rebellious spirit, or her shutting down completely - now just ignores Adagio and doesn't respond. Eventually Adagio kills her in a fit of rage with magic.
>Sonata
She ends up turning her province into a wonderland that she can escape into forever ala Sotha-Sil.
>Aria
Ends up kind of like Vivec; has experienced everything there is to do, is now bored and tired, and has many many regrets.
moving on-
>The Witcher 3
There are so many fucking things in this game that gave me ideas or that I made weird autistic connections/parallels between the fish-girls and shit in it that I can't really even put it down. mostly because it's been a long time sine i played it and i was high as fuck while i played it.
Also, the very amazing greentext by AxiiAnon - Witcher Anon - had the Dazzlings in it, so I kinda had that in my mind while playing it(the fic made me decide to give it a try)
>ATLA
You know exactly why.
