This sort of mental illness is exactly what I'm talking about. Pretty soon this whole board will be filled with rpg threads and people who don't play games. /vr/ is good as dead, worse than /v/ for discussing retro games, and I think it holds back many things that would be better discussed elsewhere. For example, shmups are still getting good new games and great ports, no reason to be locked on a retro board. Similiarly doom is constantly getting new and groundbreaking wads, no reason for it to be on a retro board. And with those two threads everything of value here is gone. I don't see a point in discussing SNES games with third world idiots who only play incredibly passive low effort rpgs. To me "retro" is a culture of people who do not seriously play games, but rather care more about collecting them and meme methods of playing them like mister shit, soifacing over ken and terry fist bumping in cvs2 or some pixelated breasts rather than how a game plays. If you look at like system11 or something no one gives a shit if you own a cabinet, what matters is if you can get the 1cc and articulate whats good or bad about those games. It's no surprise the rpg rot is setting in, with how people behave here. When people like this appear that means a board is dead. A passive boring style of play leads to passive and boring style of threads. Rather than stating something of value, OP posts bait and expects everyone else to do the work.
