Ok to all the Mad Men Afficionados out there. And I know there's a lot of you. I watched this show start-finish more than 5 times but there are still a few things I don't fully understand:
1. What was the whole deal between Pete and Bob Benson? What was that speech "I've messed with people like you before (meaning Don) and I want to apologize"? And what actually happened to his mother?
2. Why was Roger so frugal with his daughter? He had no problem spending thousands on trips and women but he seemed to be stingy with his daughter? Or am I misreading it and she was a brat?
3. What was the deal with Don chasing the woman who looked like Rachel Menkin? Are they hinting that rachel was the only woman he truly loved? What was the deal with his Italian neighbor? did he feel anything for her?
4. What about Megan? The only time he shows any emotion for her is when she leaves the hotel after their fight? Did he actually love her? Did he truly love anyone?
5. What was the deal with the Pvt's lighter? Why did he actually throw it away? Why did he imagine him dead when he got high in California? Wtf was all that?
6. Wtf is up with his pregnant niece? That whole line made no sense to me. He literally tried to kiss her and then that whole trip at the end and then she just leaves him there? Just what was going on?
7. Why did Don never show any guilt over his brother's death? Also Lane's death? Yes he's an alcoholic but he shows signs of guilt over much less stuff like when Sally caught him with the neighbor?
