Time for some fun CONDOR facts!

>Largest flying animal in the world
>Despite its massive size and solemn bearing, it is a very peaceful, docile animal.
>Monogamous for life.
>Worshipped since the neolithic.
>A mythological king of the skies, often depicted as right hand to the primordial water gods, such as at Chavín de Huántar, a 3.000 year old massive temple complex which inspired the Inca megastructures. It houses dozens upon dozens of Condor sculptures in it, and its craftsmanship has been praised by artists such as Pablo Picasso, who cited Chavín culture art as one of his main inspirations.
>Since time immemorial, the Condor has been contrasted with the Llama. The proud ruler of the highest spheres and the hardworking (and delicious) ungulate, a symbol of earthly life.
>The word 'sacred' doesn't begin to describe how much devotion this magnificent beast garnered throughout almost every single Pre-Columbian civilization, for untold millennia.
>During the time of Spanish colonization, the Condor became a symbol of bittersweet hope in the face of cataclysmic destruction and enslavement. Soaring high above the snowy Andes, hugging the clouds, free and untouchable, it came to be seen as the 'soul' of the Andean peoples, ever free and untameable despite centuries of oppression.
>Though the Spanish bull might've trampled everything in its wake on land, the skies will forever belong to the Condor, the true eternal ruler of the Americas!
